  1. Membership runs for 12 months from the date you take it out. 
  2. Membership of Festival Friends is limited to 200 memberships each year.
    1. Joint memberships are not restricted to those living at the same address and are available to all Derby Book Festival supporters. Both Friends will receive our e-newsletters and access to the priority booking period. We can only accept the payer's address for administration and gift aid purposes.
  3. Festival Friends will receive by email a link to the Festival website with event listings/priority booking details one week before tickets go on general sale.
  4. Advanced Purchase Allocations:
    1. Single Membership: Maximum of 2 tickets per event (except Children’s Events which have a maximum of 4 tickets per event)
    2. Joint Membership: Maximum of 4 tickets per event (including Children’s Events which have a maximum of 4 tickets per event)
  5. There may be a limit on the number of tickets available for Festival Friends to book during the priority booking period for some events.  It is our policy to ensure that some tickets will always be available for members of the general public.
  6. All Festival Friends tickets are therefore subject to availability.
  7. The priority booking period is available for all events booked either on our website or through our partners' eg. QUAD, Derby LIVE, Déda and Derby Theatre. We will ensure that Festival Friends are notified that tickets are on sale as timings will vary for partners' box offices. Wherever possible we will give a week’s priority booking for Festival Friends to book events at these venues before they are on sale to the public, but cannot guarantee this.
