Music journalist Paul Morley’s latest book, Far Above the World, is a landmark exploration of undoubtedly one of the UK's greatest creative artists, David Bowie and his legacy as an everlasting cultural force and change-maker.

Paul recounts the spectacularly colourful and vibrant journey of a man who constantly reinvented himself and his music.  In the ten years since the death of David Bowie there has been no loss of interest in and fascination with his life, music and driven, complex personality. He is destined not to be forgotten.

The significant grief and sadness that greeted Bowie's death has evolved into a deeper, enduring love for his music, style, wit, artistic curiosity, sexual energy, flamboyant outsider spirit and insatiable, provocative appetite for life.

Paul was closely linked to the punk era and the career of Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

He will be in conversation with Derbyshire-based interviewer and magazine editor Darrell Buxton.
