Local Author Talks in Libraries

CRAFT EVENT & TALK with best-selling children's author Clare C Saunders

Saturday 28 June

5.50 Venue: Heanor Library, DE75 7DX

Derby Book Festival has teamed up with the Society of Authors, Derby Libraries and Derbyshire Library Service to organise a series of talks by local authors in libraries across the city and county in June with more planned in the autumn.

Clare C-Saunders has released three children’s books to date, all of which have made it into the top 100 Amazon best sellers charts. Currently she is writing her fourth book, which will be the last in the Charlotte and Arthur’s Adventures trilogy. ‘Seven Nights of Snuggles’, a picture book for younger children, was Clare's first book. Her daughter, Rose, illustrated the entire book while she was only  9 to 10 years old. Before Clare went down the author path, she enjoyed an extensive acting career spanning over 20 years in stage, television and film. Her career has taken her all over the world from London’s West End theatres to screen work in Hollywood, LA.
