Comic Book Club is a fun, hands-on workshop for children aged 4+ and their grown-ups, led by Derby-based illustrator and community artist Carla Dee - Love La La Land.
Families will fold their own mini comic books or zines and bring them to life using bright colours, stickers, collage and imagination. With playful story starters and finish-the-story prompts, everyone can jump straight in…no drawing experience needed!
Inspired by favourite comics like The Beano, Dog Man, Bunny vs Monkey and Garfield, this session celebrates creativity, confidence and the joy of doodling together.
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the day at workshops and around the market - thank you.
