Join us for our Closing Event with a very local Derbyshire flavour - and bouquet!
Local wine grower and producer, Kieron Atkinson and his wife Jane Travis, run the English Wine Project, supporting and championing English and Welsh wine to help improve the quality of its production across the U.K. Since 2011 Kieron has managed the historic vineyard at Renishaw Hall in Derbyshire.
Producing red, rose, white and sparkling wines, this Derbyshire vineyard has produced wine which has won awards at the International Wine Competition and Decanter World Wine Awards. The wine is made and bottled in Darley Abbey Mills and you will be able to enjoy a tasting of the wines guided by Kieron.
Kieron and Jane, have now written an inspiring and fascinating book about their wine journey: Wine making - a guide to growing, nurturing and producing.
The event will include a talk by Kieron about their wine adventure interspersed with tastings of four wines which are produced by English Wine Project.
