A Random Act of Wildness is any little thing that you can do to enjoy nature. Some acts immerse you for just a few seconds in nature, like smelling a wildflower on the way to work; or for a few hours, like creating a whole area for wildlife in your garden. Some don’t take any time at all, but are little changes to your daily routine, like buying a reusable coffee cup.
Lucy will introduce some of the 365 inspiring ideas from her book, 365 Days Wild, for the family to enjoy nature. Join Lucy and discover some Random Acts of Wildness of your own, suitable for all the family, and discover your 'wildest' life. There'll be a few ideas for you to have a go yourself, supported by Darley Abbey Gardeners - and you may even feel inspired to have a wander round Darley Park after the event to discover more nature.
Please note: Darley Abbey Village Hall is located off New Road which is a one way system accessed from Darley Street at the bottom of the village. There is a car park adjacent to the park on Darley Street and a smaller car park at the Village Hall (park to the left and not to the right as this is for the Stables' business use).
