The box office opens again at 12noon on Thursday 12 April for ticket sales to our Opening Event with Ken Clarke in conversation with Alan Johnson, sponsored by Peveril Homes.
We were overwhelmed with the demand for tickets for this event in Derby Theatre and wanted to ensure that some would still be available on the day our Festival programme is launched.
You will be able to buy tickets online at: http://www.derbybookfestival.co.uk/whats-on/ken-clarke-in-conversation-with-alan-johnson/ or you can visit Derby Theatre’s box office or call them 01332 593939.
Festival programme launch
We are launching this year’s Festival programme at a special Derby Reads event in QUAD on Thursday 12 April and tickets will go on sale for all the remaining Festival events at 6pm. This is for events hosted by QUAD and a few other venues such as Rolls-Royce, Waterstones and The Roundhouse, Derby College.
You can book tickets for (nearly all) Festival events from our website: http://www.derbybookfestival.co.uk/whats-on/
There are a few exceptions which you will need to book by telephone: the annual Festival Lunch and our two Afternoon Tea events.
We hope you agree that this year’s Festival events are even more varied than in previous years – and that you find plenty you will want to attend!
