When I came to Derby for the rst time it was the end of October 2016. The days were very short and cold and I was never used to this kind of weather and short days.
Derby has people from different countries, different religions and different cultures in a community which makes Derby different from other cities. The people of Derby are very polite and friendly.
At the beginning of 2017 I started school. The UK has a different education system to the one I knew in Afghanistan. The education system is very helpful for the student and I really enjoyed going to school and I started going out and I made some friends from school.
When I go to a different city for a few days I start missing Derby, the people, friends and everything. I have also become used to the weather, the people and the short days.
Derby feels like my home town now!
